Mrs. Richardson, 65, died Dec. 13, 2006, at Covenant Medical, Center in. Lubbock, Texas. She was born July 6, 1941, in Hobbs, N.M. She marshy;ried Tommy G. Richardson on Aug. 28, 1981, in Lovington, N.M.
Arvella was employed by Lea Regional Hospital for 27 years as a microbiologist. She volunshy;teered for the Christian Learning Network in Midland, Texas. She was a member of Christian Center Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Gayle Adams of Neodesha, Kan.; her mother, Opal Knapp of Hobbs, N.M.; two sisters, Anne Cook of Lubbock, Texas, and Betty Gourley of Hobbs, N.M.; two granddaughters, Theresa Adams of Okeechobee, Fla., and Sandra Adams of Neodesha, Kan.; five great-grandchildren, Jennifer, Brandon, Bryan, Lyllia and Cayden; and four nieces and nephews and their families.
Arvella was preceded in death by her husband on July 1, 1997, and son, Steven Belveal.
