Annabel Seymour

Funeral services for Annabel Seymour, 87, of Hobbs, will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, at Highland Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Guy Coup. Visitation will be Thursday, January 17 at 8 a.m. 6 p.m. at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. Annabel died January 14, 2013, in Hobbs. She was born August 30, 1925, in Oran, MO, to Charlie and Cora Rhodes.

Annabel married Opal Seymour February 13, 1946, in Matthews, MO. She loved children, crocheting, playing games and family. She was a member of Belvue Baptist Church where she worked in the church nursery for 25 years.

Surviving Annabel is her daughter, Margaret Newcomb, and husband Don, of Hobbs son, Mark Seymour of Albuquerque daughterinlaw, Donna Seymour of Longview, TX brother, Jimmy Green, and wife Marlene, of Blythe, CA 4 grandchildren, 6 greatgrandchildren and 4 greatgreatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Annabel in death were her parents, husband, son, Larry Seymour, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
