Funeral services for Ann Marie Kelley of Hobbs, N.M., will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Pastor Billy Chidester officiatshy;ing. Burial will follow at Prairie Hashy;ven Memoshy;rial Park. Visitation is 11 a.m.-7 p.m. today with the family in attendance from 5-6 p.m. and 8 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Chapel of Hope.
Mrs. Kelley, 74, died June 21, 2008, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She was born Jan. 26, 1934, in Bennington, Okla. She marshy;ried Dannye Kelley July 25, 1953, at Shady Grove Baptist Church in Durant, Okla.
Ann retired from the banking industry after 37 years of servshy;ice. She also worked for Pauline's Style Shop. Ann received her Bachelor's Degree from College of the Southwest and her Masshy;ter's Degree: from Eastern New Mexico University at the age of 48. She enjoyed traveling. Ann's greatest joy in life was her famishy;ly, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Eastern Star, Altrusa, ABWA and Toastmasters. She was a memshy;ber of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husshy;band, Dannye J. Kelley of the home; a son, King Kelley and wife Anna of Artesia, N.M.; two daughters, Danella Alexander and husband Sammy of Hobbs, N.M., and Sarah Ford of Shawnee, Okla.; an adopted daughtar, Rhonda Lemmons Albert of Eufaula, Okla.; six grandchildren, Cory Smith and wife Melissa Findlay, Chelsi Harper, Jeremiah Keeler, Ben Kelley, Beau Kelley and Brady Kelley; and two great-grandshy;children, Kaden Smith and Hannah Jo Harper. .
