Ann Caffey was born in Circle Back, Texas, on December 25, 1932 to William Lester Patton and Rebecca Tommy Patton. She passed away December 9, 2015 in Hobbs, NM.
Ann Graduated in 1949 from Seminole High School. She married James Leonard Caffey on August 9, 1950. She attended NMJC. Ann volunteered in Pink Ladies, PTA, Girl Scouts, and was a CASA volunteer. She was active in her church, Hobbs First United Methodist Church, as a wedding coordinator and was on the hospitality committee. She owned a home decorating business. Ann was a Hobbs Realtor for over 25 years and held many positions with the Hobbs Board of Realtors, including president. She received Hobbs Realtors of the Year Award.
She is survived by her husband Leonard Caffey, sons; Randy and wife Brenda Caffey, Steve and wife Debbie Caffey, and Paul Caffey and one daughter Beth Weickum, one sister; Jean Pulliam, brothers; Wesley Patton and Gale Patton, grandchildren: Tim, Tammie, Brandy, Tony, Christopher, Drew, Neil, Rebecca, Patricia and Yance, numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend and caregiver, Ace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Donald Patton and Keith Patton, and her dear friend of over 40 years, Donna Pennington.
