Anita Hamlin

Anita Marie Hamlin, of Hobbs, NM passed away, Friday, September 3, 2021, at Covenant Health Hospital in Hobbs, NM.

Mrs. Hamlin was born on July 25, 1933, in Van Horn, TX to Vicente Carrasco and Mary Regina Martinez Carrasco.  Mrs. Hamlin married Richard C. Hamlin on February 5, 1965, in Hobbs, NM and they celebrated over 45 glorious years together.  Mrs. Hamlin throughout the years worked in retail and retired.  She was a member of St. Helena Catholic Church served as Eucharistic Minister and also volunteered with the Knights of Columbus.  Mrs. Hamlin loved dancing, shopping, going out to eat, having a great game of Yahtzee and eating a tootsie pops.  Her true love was her family, especially her grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews and godchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Richard C. Hamlin, her daughter Regina Marie Hamlin, four sisters, one brother and other family members.

Lopez and partner Bill Conley of Roseville, CA, Justin Richard Wise, Haiden D. Irion and Zane E. Irion, great-grandchildren, Joshua Espinoza of Albuquerque, NM, Gabrielle Espinoza of Redding, CA, Solange Conley of Roseville, CA, Skyler Conley of Roseville, CA, and Sean Collopy of Roseville, CA, great-great-grandchildren Joseph Wise-Yanez and Brianna Wise-Yanez.
