Andylena Craig

Andylena Medora Craig departed this life August 30, 2011, at the age of 90. Graveside services will be in the Chapel 3:00 p.m. Friday, at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be Friday, 8 a.m. until service time at Chapel of Hope with a private viewing for family on Thursday evening 6 8 p.m. Andy is survived by her three sons, Donald, Curtis and Billy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wince Craig.

Andy was one of the original homesteaders in Tatum, NM. She was baptized early in life at the Church of Christ in Tatum and was a longtime, active member of Taylor Street Church of Christ where she worked in the Food Bank and the clothing room. She was a graduate of ENMU in Portales. Wince and Andy married in 1942. Andy enjoyed bowling, hunting and fishing with her husband and was an active member of the Rebecca Lodge. She loved garage sales and enjoyed activities with the senior citizens.
