Funeral services for Andy Carter of Hobbs, N.M., are 10 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2007, at First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Jim Lacey officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Visitation is 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, July 27, with the family in attendance from 5:30 - 8 p.m.

Andy, 17, died July 22,2007, at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born Oct. 10, 1989, in Coldwater, Ohio.

Andy's favorite sport was football. He played for Hobbs High School and Moeller High in Cincinnati, Ohio. He also enjoyed golfing, fishing, huntshy;ing and movies. Most of all, Andy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his parshy;ents, Cameron and Robin Landrum of Hobbs, N.M., and Nathan and Shannon Carter of Monroe, Ohio; a brother, Chase Landrum of Hobbs, N.M.; four sisters, Jessica Carter of Monroe, Ohio, Lauren Elizabeth Sommers of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ashley Marie Sommers of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Erin Nicole Sommers of Cincinnati, Ohio; his grandparents, Samuel and Beverly Carter of Goshen, Ohio, Merle and Jan Newberry of Cincinnati, Ohio, Richard and Cheryl Groves of Monroe, Ohio, and Kathaleen Bauer of Goshen, Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
