Andres Cadena Garcia
Andres passed unexpectedly to be with the Lord on November 1, 2020. He was 76 years old.
He was born to Asunción Cadena and Pedro Garcia on March 10, 1944 in El Paradero, Chihuahua. Was married to the love of his life, Teresa for 53 years.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Garcia of the home, his son Andres Garcia and wife Ida, from Hobbs, His son Rodolfo Garcia and wife Barbara from Hobbs, 4 grandchildren-Brisa Garcia, Sophia Garcia, Brian Andres Garcia and Brandy Oliver all from Hobbs, 3 great grandchildren-Mark Ponce, Alex Gonzalez and Savannah Herget all from Hobbs. Survivors also include 4 brothers-Martin Garcia and wife Josefina from Durango Mexico, Raymundo Garcia and wife Enedina from Odessa, TX, Natividad Garcia and wife Emilia from Tatum, NM, Mario Garcia and wife Regina from Tatum, NM, and 3 sisters-Felipa Garcia from Ojinaga, Mexico, Engracia Udave from Ojinaga, Mexico, and Maria DeLa Luz Montanez and husband Pilar from Kansas City, Kansas. And numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Pedro and Asunción Garcia.
Andres was a wonderful husband, a great father, and awesome grandpa and super great grandpa. He was always ready to lend a helping hand and wouldn’t think twice about going the extra mile for anybody in need. Andres was a retired truck driver, who drove for over 40 years. He was a man of many trades. There was nothing that he could not solve or fix. His work and growing up stories will always be remembered and cherished. Andres was a man of great wisdom and compassion. He taught his family the value of having good morals, respect, and love of God.
Andres enjoyed spending his time drinking a cup of coffee and visiting with friends and family, morning walks with his 2 dog companions, Mickey and Condi, doing yard and garden work, restoring classic cars, playing Dominos and attending Sunday Mass. He has left a grand hole in our hearts and will be missed dearly, but there is comfort knowing he is with our Creator.
