Allene Luther

A funeral service for Allene Luther of Hobbs, N.M., was held 2 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2008, at Chapel of Hope. Burial followed at Prairie Haven Cemetery.BR

Mrs. Luther, 72, died May 30, 2008, at Southwest Regional Hospital in Lubbock, Texas. She was born Feb. 3, 1936, in Flomot, Texas. She married William K. Luther.

BRMrs. Luther was a mental health tech at Lea Regional Medical Center for many years. She was a member of the Rebekahs Lodge.

BRSurvivors include a son, Harold Lee Milligan and wife Jeanene of Bonham, Texas; a daughter, Patricia Jones and husband Kermit of Hobbs, N.M.; a brother, Billy Joe Webb of Arkansas; grandchildren, Michael S. Milligan and wife Elesa, Johnna J. Curtis and Angela L. Wimberly and Scotty; and seven great-grandchildren.BRAllene was preceded in death by her parents, William Harold and Margaret Oleta Webb; husband, William K. Luther; two sons, Roger Wayne Milligan and James Edward Milligan; and a brother, William Earl Webb.
