Alijiah Guerra

Alijiah Jarrell Guerra of Hobbs, NM, went to heaven April 27, 2011. He was two years and nine days old. He was born in Lubbock, TX, April 18, 2009, to Jennifer Guerra and Sean Blackwell.

Alijiah was a miracle in just his birth alone. He fought the good fight of faith and now is in heaven in the arms of Jesus Christ. His smile alone would melt your heart. He was truly loved by his family and friends. Alijiahs life here on earth, though brief, left huge imprints in many hearts and he changed lives forever

Surviving Alijiah are his parents, Jennifer Guerra and Sean Blackwell siblings, Anthony Soto, Alyssa Soto, and Aaron Guerra maternal grandparents, Isaac and Valerie Guerra uncle, Richard Guerra aunts, Vicky Duran and Rachel Guerra cousin, Anastasia Guerra greatgrandparents, Leroy and Betty Jeter and greatgrandmother, Santos Guerra, both from Brownfield, TX numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his greatgrandfather, Eliazar G. Guerra, Sr.

Viewing will be Sunday, May 1, 2011, 1 5 p.m. at Chapel of Hope which is in charge of arrangements. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 2, 2011, 2:00 p.m. at Prairie Haven Memorial Park officiated by Pastor Dean Shropshire.

The family would like to give a special thanks to family and friends, pastors, Dean and Kathy Shropshire, Choose Life Church Staff, Chapel of Hope, Marilyn Bush, Dr. Kanu and UMC staff and all the women from Sisters Bible Study.
