Alice Holmes was born January 6th, 1939 to Vera E. and Joe H. Ball, in Central City, NM.
She is the seventh child of eleven. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four of her brothers. Mom was also preceded by Richard J. Holmes, and her son Richard W. Holmes.
She is survived by her spouse Tom Simmons, a daughter Sheryl Oaks and a son Kenneth Holmes, eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren, also one brother, and four sisters. She has a multitude of nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
Alice loved so many things, she had a fire for life, she loved conversations about aliens, life after death, old movies, antiques, casinos, and she was a gifted oil painter. She enjoyed trips with her sister to the casino or "the joint" as they called it. She loved to daydream about many things, she loved to laugh. She and Tom enjoyed friends, BBQs, western movies and each other's company. She loved purses and shoes, she loved to decorate and remodel, and she loved to share with her family and friends.
