Darrel went to be with his forever love on February 24, 2022 at Hendrick Hospice Center in Abilene, TX. November 10, 1924 was the joyous day that Darrell was born into this world by Faye Carpenter and Henry Hall in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Darrell was always a hard worker and took pride in what he did. He entered the Army at a young age and fought in World War II. He was a member of the 29th Infantry. Darrell and Onieda were married after his return from service on November 30, 1944 and were together through thick and thin until her passing. After returning home from the War, most of his career was spent with Bulldog and Star Tool. He took pride in his family and could always be counted on to have a Dr. Pepper and some sort of junk food stashed away for the grandkids.
