Adelee Brice

Adelee Ruth Brice, 91, of Hobbs, New Mexico was born on August 31, 1922 in Lovington, New Mexico to Jess and Willie Mae Farris. She passed from this life on March 15, 2014 in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Adelee married V.R. Buddy Brice in 1950. Adelee was employed by J.C. Penney at the time of her death. She worked at Penneys for 30 years. Adelee was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary for over fifty years. She held every office at the Hobbs Post, as well as many national offices. She was the New Mexico State President in 197677.

Adelee is survived by her son, Dennis Brice grandsons Mark David Leslie and Matthew Leslie granddaughter, Carolyn Brice her brothers, Paul and Ansel Farris and sister Susie Roberts and numerous nieces and nephews.

Adelee was preceded in death by both parents husband, Buddy Brice son, Henry Butch Brice daughter, Bequita Cissy Crider brothers, R.L. and Burl Farris sister, Virginia Polly Jacobson and grandson, Bart Brice.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the VFW Hall, 609 W. Alto Dr, Hobbs, New Mexico. Services will be officiated by Reverend Calvin Hill. Cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
