Frances (Kika) J. Rodriguez, 75, was born October 4, 1942 in Emiliano Zapata Durango Mexico to Santos Juarez & Maria Engracia Valdez Ontiveras Juarez and passed away April 3, 2018 in Midland, TX. She was married to Edwardo Rodriguez on March 28, 1995 in Seminole, TX. The Rosary will be conducted at Chapel of Hope on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 6:00 pm. Mass will be at Saint Helena Church on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at 10:00 am directly followed by burial at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Francis lived in Carlsbad, NM until she moved to Hobbs, NM in 1977. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Lead Choir, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Ladies Auxiliary, Senior Center of Hobbs & the Country Club. She shared many passions including playing the guitar and singing in church. She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. Frances sang with Mariachi Sapien from 1970 to 1975 in Carlsbad, NM. She leaves behind husband Edwardo Rodriguez, sons Jose Aurelio & Samuel Martinez of Carlsbad, NM; daughter Sandra M Ornelas and husband Cruz O. Ornelas of Loving, NM; daughter, Delma Martinez of Hobbs, NM; 13 grandkids: 19 great-grandkids: brothers Ignacio, Santos, Tomas, & Margarito Juarez; sisters Severita Juarez Hernandez & Anita Juarez Menchaca. She was preceded in death by parents: daughter Thelma J Martinez; grandson Isaac A. Martinez: & great-granddaughter Nneanna Ornelas: brother Bernardo Juarez & sisters Antonia, Juanita & Francisca Juarez. She is going to be deeply missed but we know she will be singing with the angles choir!!!
