Martha Helen Ellington, 90, was born June 29, 1927 in Ft. Worth, TX to J. B. and Leona Price. She passed away in Hobbs, NM on January 12, 2018.

Martha married Reverend W. J. (Bill) Ellington in Fort Worth, TX on July 29, 1943. He passed away in May 1994. She enjoyed her role as a pastorโ€™s wife. She was a member of First Assembly of God and the Lea County Womenโ€™s Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter; Ann Callaway Webb of Hobbs, NM, and her son; Michael Ellington and spouse Brenda of Spring, TX, grandson; Larry Don Callaway and Donna, granddaughters; Tammy Ballard and Jaime Leeper and husband Lee all of Hobbs, Whitney Ellington of Phoenix, AZ, Lindsey Sebastian and Chris Echols of Spring, TX and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

Martha is preceded in death by her husband, four sisters and one brother.

    I'm SO sorry for your loss and for not attending the funeral. I was planning to go see her today and before I left happened to check the obituaries and found her name.
    May God comfort you and give you peace as you remember her. A remember how positive, hardworking and loving she was and it makes me smile. A life well-lived is a blessing to all who were touched by her.
